The workshop is aimed at members and participants who represent patients through LINk:MK, or may be interested in doing so, but we are pleased to hear from anyone who has an interest in patient representation and would like to attend, as long as space allows.
LinkMK-Site - Article Box Image 1LINk:MK has continued to receive many concerns about Podiatry Services in Milton Keynes. You may recall that we advised a new service was to be launched in January 2012.

This week we contacted Milton Keynes Council for an update so we could advise all our members with a further update. We received a statement from Mary Hartley, Senior Joint Commissioner for Adult Community Services at Milton Keynes Council.
LinkMK-Site - LINk:MKJoin us on LINk LIVE this Wednesday, February 1st for a feature on our project with the Deaf and Hearing Impaired and working in partnership with local statutory organisations and community groups. We'll also be announcing details of our Citizens Meeting, and the election process for the LINk:MK Executive Committee.

As a member of the public you have a right to be involved in decisions about health and social care services in Milton Keynes. By sharing experiences and ideas with your Local Involvement Network in (LINk:MK) you can influence the way services are run.

LINk:Mk includes individuals and community groups working together to improve health and social care services.

The job of LINk:MK is to find out what people like and dislike about services. They then feed this information back to health and social care providers, helping them to plan and deliver better services that reflect the wishes of local people.

The more people who get involved in LINk:MK, the stronger and more influential we become.
